For Placements the cell undertakes various activities like arranging campus interviews, communicating with enterprisers for job openings, organizing placement lectures, arranging referral interviews for students, searching and displaying job advertisements etc.

The placement cell of the college headed by Mrs. Reetu and Mrs. Nitu Rana, for Pharmacy and DMLT respectively, lend full assistance and support to the students so that they can attain gainful employment and a brilliant kick-start to their careers. The cells provide guidance regarding professional courses, training and career counselling. Providing students with information about various jobs opening; arranging on-campus interviews for students; and aiding the off-campus selection and and recruitment process are all activities that the placement cells conduct. The cells also help in building resume writing, presentation and communication skills.
In DMLT, Batch 2018 -2021 out of 136, 84 students have been placed in various laboratories and hospitals of tricity like Mukat Hospital, Healing Touch, Fortis, Max, Dr. Lal Path, SRL, PGIMER, GMSH 16 and Punjab Welfare & Family Welfare. 48 students have opted for Higher Education.
In Pharmacy, out of 60 students of Batch 2020-2022, 4 students are placed in ABOTT HEALTHCARE through campus interview 33 students are placed in various pharmaceutical houses/hospitals,14 students went for higher studies.
Training is another important activity undertaken by the placement cell, since practical training is a part of curriculum in diploma in medical laboratory technology course and diploma in Pharmacy . The college arranges practical training for students during fifth and sixth semester in DMLT and after 2nd year for D.Pharmacy students in government hospitals as well as in private clinical laboratories. The cell has developed links with more than 50 private clinical laboratories in the tri city for training of our students. A number of students undergoing training are absorbed in the same laboratory after consultation with the Training & Placement Officer. Some of them also start getting stipend during training period also. For evaluation during the training a proper procedure and methodology devised by the PSBTE &IT is being followed. The evaluation criteria include attendance & punctuality, proficiency in conducting laboratory tests, practical notebook, initiative/responsibility exhibited, interpersonal relations and behavior/attitude.
